I want to write something about the olympics. They are approaching fast and I am so love/hate in regards to the whole thing. The norwegian in me loves it (having grown up in nationalist norway), the athlete in me thinks it is exciting and important, but my vancouverite side..not so sure... Its quite a complex issue with many political/economical/social aspects so I think ill try to formulate something a bit more specific. In the meantime- have a look at the article Aron posten which can maybe give some Norwegians an idea of why the olympics are not always "the best thing ever!!"
